Charles Siler was once a lobbyist for school privatizers. He now opposes the work he was hired to do. At one time he was a prominent lobbyist for the Goldwater Institute, ALEC and other billionaire-funded privatization organizations. His job was to persuade legislators to pass laws that privatize public services, especially k-12 public education.

 

Charles ultimately realized he was on the wrong side of education policy, promoting ideas that do harm, not good. He is now an enlightened public education advocate who does communications and lobbying work in support of the public for public education.
