Keron Blair is an experienced organizer, public speaker, storyteller, and the National Director of the Alliance to Reclaim Our Schools. AROS is an alliance of parent, youth, community, and labor organizations that together represent over 7 million people nationwide.

 

This strong alliance is fighting to reclaim the promise of public education as our nation’s gateway to a strong democracy and racial and economic justice.

 

Keron's background includes years of working for social change at the local, state, and national levels to design and implement strategic campaigns on a wide set of issues, including public education. Keron joined the AROS team because, as he notes: "We may lose public education as we know it in our lifetimes. I want to be part of the fight to make sure that doesn't happen."
